24 March 2011 Elvis Gordon is a heavyweight Great Britain Judo Legend who competed in 3 Olympic Games, won a Silver in the 1987 World Championships, Gold in the 1988 European Championships and double Gold at the 1990 Commonwealth Games. Elvis orginated from Jamaica and was based at the world famous Wolverhampton Judo Club which included other British super stars such as Densign White, Kerrith Brown and Dennis Stewart. Elvis sadly passed away after suffering with pancreatic cancer on Friday 6 May 2011.
